Malta: A mint and used collection in an album, from 1841 to 1973, incl. extensive range of stamps of G.B. used in Malta with “M” cancellations on various 1d., 2d., 4d., 6d. and 1s. (thick paper), “A25” cancellations on large ranges of shades with values to 5s. with 2d. blue (11, with exceptional cover bearing two pairs), 21/2d. rosy mauve and blue plates apparently complete, 1862 4d. red strip, 1867 10d. red-brown (both shades), 1876 large garter 4d. vermilion, 1876 8d. orange, 1877 4d. sage-green, 1880 4d. grey-brown, all printings of 6d. (38, some on piece), 1s. values (22, with three 1881 orange-brown), also “A25” on stamps from overseas, then issued stamps with good ranges of shades of 1/2d. first issues with and without wmk. to 1884 (33, with two pairs), 1885-90 various with “Cospicua” c.d.s., large mint and used multiples of 1/2d.
