Extensive Collection in Nine Albums, plus a group of loose pages, all very neatly written-up by a collector who is also an ornithology professor, so lots of detail. We counted over 2,000 stamps and 140 covers, with many different countries, many different birds and noted some very nice postal stationery from Australian States, some US Naval covers and many high value sets. Includes a two volume collection titled "Which Bird is That?" showing all sorts of errors committed by the stamp issuers, such as wrong name, wrong colour of birds, some apparently non-existent birds, some plagiarized bird pictures (with origin of picture), misspelled bird names and more.
