1893 Colonial design 4d brown, 'used' with part dumb oval obliterator. MW L9 Italics please - These 'forerunners' are of bogus origin, made from cliches used to illustrate British colonial stamps in stamp catalogues

1922 (Oct. - Nov.) 2/6d, 5/- and 10/- with Thom overprints in shiny blue-black. Used examples, the 5/- unusually cancelled 'Dubh Eige', on Achill Island in the Gaeltacht, but with a small repair at right; otherwise fine but for the odd shorter perf. SG 44-6, £1900 (Image)

1922 (Dec.) 5/- rose-carmine with Thom three-line overprint, showing Plate 1 R3/2 or 8/2 'accent omitted' variety. College Green CDS of 1 FE 23. Light blue wash at lower left corner, and a couple of shorter perfs.
