1871, 5 Kr rot Ganzsachenumschlag, sog. "POCKENNARBENGESICHT":
Die ersten Drucke von Postwertzeichen durch die Ungarische Staatsdruckerei sind misslungen. Das gedruckte Markenbild zeigt ein durch Pockennarben entstelltes Gesicht des Monarchen - das sogenannte "Pockennarbengesicht". Das äußerst unbefriedigende Druckergebnis führte Ende Januar 1871 zur Vernichtung von ca. einer halben Million Ganzsachenumschlägen.
Der hier angebotene Ganzsachenumschlag ist das EINZIGE BEKANNTE Exemplar, das erhalten geblieben ist. Wertstempelmuster und Klappenstempel der Ganzsache entsprechen denen der später verausgabten Ganzsachen.

1958/1970, IMPERFORATE ISSUES, comprehensive mint collection in two thick and heavy volumes, well collected throughout with commemoratives, souvenir sheets, se-tenants, airmails and definitives, incl. rare and better pieces (e.g. Michel nos. 2315/16). Good quality throughout, lightly hinged resp. never hinged. 1960/1997, collection/holding of f.d.c. neatly sorted in six smaller boxes and mainly addressed to Germany. A fair estimation would be something around 2000+ covers. This collection includes one f.d.c. each with the perforated issue and with the IMPERFORATE issue (for most of the quoted years), presumably/possibly complete. These imperforates were issued in ridiculously low quantities and are grossly undercatalogued. Extremely rare offer! (Image)
