EGYPT - GREECE: 1870 Single weight cover from Damiata (22-4-1870) by way of Alexandria to Syros, franked with Egypt 1pi, 1867 issue, the postage rate to Alexandria Greek Post Office, on arrival was charged with 40L, 1868-69 issue, tied by Syros arrival c.d.s.. (April 29, 1870), the 40L with huge margins all round, showing portions of adjacent stamps in three sides (top, bottom, left), transit c.d.s. of Alexandria (19-4-1870) and Mansura, an absolutely superb and very impressive combination cover of the rarity.
