1853 - Keta And Teshi to Bremen (Germany) - Outer letter sheet from a correspondence,
addressed care of ´Charles Young in Islington, London´ for transmission to the North German
Missionary Soc. in Bremen. Reverse with ‘Plymouth / Packet Letter’ datestamp (Sept 9) in red
(Robertson P2) and London arrival cds of the following day and charge of ´2s.´ paid for a 1
ounce letter. Struck with fine Islington S.O. (Sorting Office) handstamp in black and thence endorsed
´via Ostend´ to Bremen. Charged ´7´ (pence) when forwarded and charged ´32´(grote)
on arrival. Fine and scarce cover from this famous correspondence.
