1882: Cover from Guayaquil to the Netherlands 'via New York', franked with 1872 1r. orange tied wih "GUAYAQUIL/3/ABRIL/1882" double-ring d/s, Zwolle '2 May 1882' arrival d/s on reverse. Cover opened very roughly three side incl. tears, but stamp remains good. A scarce usage of the second issue on cover, and a scarce destination. (Tax Method: Regular Taxation)
