DESIRABLE 'OLD-TIME' EUROPE COLLECTION. Many thousands of stamps from the 19th century to 1943 in a battered Schwanenberger album from the good old days of stamp collecting, beginning with Germany and then the "A-Z" of Europe, i.e. Austria to Yugoslavia with the following countries Germany including occupations and a good representation of Third Reich through Austria 1920s commem series, various early definitives complete, also first issues imperf complete with a very attractive #1 cds cancel and 19th / early 20th century virtually complete, Bosnia - Herzegovina virtually complete, on to Finland from zigzag coat of arms, etc, Greece with dozens of imperf Hermes heads of different printings again all one of a kind, various Olympics inc 1901, then Crete and Epirus, Great Britain including British Europe from line engraved 2d blue, QV to 5/- , even a little occupation of Iraq and KGV Ireland o/ps to 1/-, Hungary inc 1871 to 25k, strong 20th century with 1913 complete mint to 5k, similarly o/ps of the same, complete mint 1914, as well as the 1915 arch surcharge complete mint to 5kr and much more inc a very good range of occupations, WW1 era. Then Luxembourg 19th century imperfs and rouletted onwards and a good range of back of the book from 19th and early 20th century, Norway from Oscars, lions and posthorn skillings, through ore, as well 1894 complete, back of the book, etc. Liechtenstein with various complete sets also 2fr 1930 etc, Monaco, Poland inc early non-Scott listed material, Portugal from first issues onwards, Romania from 1865 imperfs onwards, not many empty spaces, through to better early 20th century commems, San Marino, Sweden with a good range of 1858 5 ore to 50 ore and some very attractive postmarks throughout to the 20th century, including the early officials again virtually complete. Switzerland a good range from rayon and strubeli imperfs, Serbia from 1869, Spain from 1851 imperfs onwards with a few dozen examples inc 1866/69/70/72/74 with high values through to 20th cent on to the Carlist issues imperfs, 19th century officials complete. Then Czechoslovakia from the Hradcany issues, lots of o/ps, Turkey with strong Ottoman empire including high values, Ukraine, etc., usual mixed condition and the occasional dubious issue plus some of the material needs careful application for it to "pop up", VG-VF, a collection full of character, with much value throughout.
