GJ.15A, 5c. narrow C, carmine rose, splendid example of huge margins franking an entire letter sent to Rosario on 26/AP/1864, with fantastic blue rimless datestamp of PARANÁ neatly applied. It was addressed to the British consul, and the text of the letter is about the purchase of a cotton ginning machine, informing the addressee that they would send in steamer Espigador "5 onces of gold, 12 patacones, and 10 reales bolivianos", excellent! NOTE: at that time, imperforate Rivadavias of 1st printing were already in use. (Image)
