Entire letter with fine printed heading, mailed from ALEXANDRIA to MILAN and franked by 1863 60c. mauve unusually tied by small cartridge PIROSCAFI / POSTALI / ITALIANI in deep blue-black with ALESSANDRIA D´EGITTO / POSTE ITALIANE cds alongside. Reverse with Ancona transit cds and Milan arrival. Slight contemporary stain on adhesive but a rare usage. (Image1)
