1851-62 Classics array on leaves with Ferslew "Mercury" essay in brown (thinned), 2RBS Facit #1 x2 (both with almost full margins) & a forgery (2 margins), 2sk x49, 4sk x360+ (wide array of shades & two stated to be Privately Perforated), 8sk x27 (one apparently unused & stated to be Privately Perforated) & 16sk x22 (one possibly rouletted), condition variable but many have full margins &/or are fine to very fine, lots of numeral cancels, Cat SKR110,000+ (= $A16,000+) plus the essay & the perforated stamps. POSTMARKS: All-different numeral cancellations '1' to '286' largely complete missing only '108', '164' (not recorded = NR), '167' (NR), '198' (NR), '200' (NR), '201' (NR), '202' (NR), '236', '237', '244' (NR), '253' (NR), '259' (NR), '271' (NR), '274', '275', '276', '281', '284' & '285' meaning that only nine recorded numbers are missing, mostly on Bicolour Ore issues but including some Imperfs & Large Ovals; plus other "target" types including 'MAARUM', 'VTOFTE', 'K/1' to 'K/3', 'N', 'N/2' & 'O/1'; most strikes are fine to superb "socked on the nose" examples.
