TOMÁŠ BAT'A AND HIS SHOE MANUFACTURING EMPIRE: A beautifully presented and well written-up 15 page display of PPCs & covers flown during the 1930s & 40s (10) from three different Bat'a enterprises to destinations in Europe, Puerto Rico, UK, USA, inc. a 1938 registered env. from the factory at Batanagar (near Calcutta) to Czechoslovakia via Athens & Prague with a v. fine "CENSUROVANO" handstamp (censorship of foreign mail during the Munich Crisis) and a 1943 registered env. postmarked "CSPP/B/14 SP/43/CZECHOSLOVAK FIELD POST" for the Czechoslovak Independent Armoured Brigade in Northampton addressed to the Belgian Congo.
