Tonga 1935-74 Tin Can Mail Collection with numerous coloured cachets in many languages, plus various passenger ship cachets incl 'Marama', and the more common types incl 'Manowai' (with blue or violet ship cachet), 'Maunganui', and later liners the 'Mariposa' & 'Monterey', also 1938 inward cover from USA and 1984 Royal Viking Star cover with 'Posted at Tin-can Is' in blue crossed out beside 2 line cachet 'No mail collection/available at Island'.
