Starts with Pre-Stamp items, inc.1768 EL to Brussels with curved 'DE LIIEGE' (1767-9), 1793 EL to Paris with larger curved strike (1793-4),1795 EL to Limbourg, similar strike (after 1794), 1810 EL to Verviers with 2-line 'P.96.P / LIEGE' (1806-1814), 1817 EL to Louvain, with red 'LUIK' strike. Then 10 other Pre-Stamp items.Then continues with over 50 later Stamped covers and cards, with a wealth of historical interest. 1896 St.Michael encountering Satan, 10c Terracotta, in complete sheet of 25 (5x10), Fresh u.m. 1936-49 Unmounted blocks with adverts in gutter: 1936 10c olive - a pane of 30 with gutter margin at left & strip of 10 adverts for stamp albums, the 3rd row are tete beche; 1936 25c carmine x 20 with inverted row of 10 at left, blank central margin & adverts strip for stamp albums & an upright row of 10 at right. Also a King Leopold 1fr carmine block of 20, vertical strip of 5 at left, with interpanneau margin & then a vertical advert strip of 5 different Stamp Dealers with 15 stamps at right, the last row of 5 inverted.
