BELGIUM ALMOST COMPLETE, Old time collection housed in a battered album, however very impressive with few empty spaces. The 19th century virtually all used tending towards mint as the album progresses to the 20th century. Beginning with the epaulette issues complete imperf, thorugh to 1869/78 5fr red brown Scott #39, sound cds (cat $1450), through all the other defin series through to 20th century inc King Albert 1 2fr and 5fr with Sunday labels mint, #101 and #102, tin hats save 2fr and then, completion thereafter including all the good semi postals of the 1920s/30s i.e. the crown o/p complete #B69-B77, expertized twice (cat $650), the Mercier complete #B114 to #B122 (cat $600), the Orval #B132 to #143 (cat $1000) and all the rest, through to back of the book, i.e. airposts, special delivery, postage due, officials, newspapers, miliatary stamps complete and the overwhelming majority of parcel posts complete from 1879 onwards. A remarkable collection needing just a few stamps to complete, offered intact as received.
