IMPRESSIVE BRITISH COMMONWEALTH COLLECTION. to 1980s issues (and later for some countries) in ten Scott and two Lindner albums and nicely augmented with booklets and booklet panes plus some later gutter pairs, an incredibly long list of highlights would bore the reader but a few to whert the appetite would include Gibraltar 1921 £1 KG V NH, Gilbert & Ellice complete mint 1911-75, GB 1924 1½d KG V booklet panes of four + two labels mint (2 diff), Hong Kong strong 1930s/70s issues with NH sets and S/S, Solomon Isl 1907 War Canoe mint, 1908-11 War Canoe mint, 1913-14 ½d-£1 KG V mint, etc. plus strong Ireland, Br Pacific, etc., generally F-VF, a pleasure to view.

BRITISH COMMONWEALTH POSTAL HISTORY ACCUMULATION. an old time accumulation of 151 items selected by a discerning postal historian for unusual usages of all types with many better items like 1892 Tonga with superb strike of government frank, eight KEVII-QEII mixed country frankings with better from Hong Kong, 2 U.S. reply cards used in the 1920’s up franked and cancelled in St Vincent and Jamaica, Egypt and Gibraltar used in 1904 to Ascension Island, better QV destinations like Natal to Uruguay and Suriname, Sierra Leone KEVII on 2 different postal stationery envelopes endorsed per “S/S Mendi” and “S/S Burutu”, multiple African areas collected for smaller village cancels, many on reg. covers, KGVI St Helena/ Cayman due combo, S. Africa stamped Parcel Form, Cyprus KGV to Liechtenstein and Yugoslavia, Cook islands used as a due stamp, Boer War (Zululand, two mixed country frankings, scarcer origins like Egypt and Mozambique Co., miniature cover, etc.), WWI (Pow, Uganda stampless, Japan to Ceylon, better Samoa, OAS Egypt to Argentina, etc.), WWII (POW mails, paquebot usage, and other unusual items) other cancel items like TPOs, RPOs, maritime items with ship ppc’s, mainly from the African area with several scarce items with the earliest from 1904, etc. All handpicked and a great group of quality not often found these days.
