BLUE-GREEN "PAID/AT/RIO DE JANEIRO" CROWNED CIRCLE COVER TO MONTEVIDEO; Attractive May 1864 cash-paid '2/-' EL (file fold well clear of markings) from Rio to Montevideo endorsed "[Per Ship] Mersey" with a very fine Rio Crowned Circle in this unusual colour (matching the v. fine Rio backstamp) on the front.
