1867 Rivdavia 5c. red-rose from 7th printing, no watermark, variety "DOUBLE IMPRESSION", with part of neighbour stamp at foot, used on entire from Paso de la Patria to Buenos Aires, tied by "CORREOS DE CORRIENTES/18/OCT/1867" c.d.s. A fresh and fine stamp, a scarce and clear variety and a historical cover during the Triple Alliance War.

1875 Cover from Buenos Aires to Bordeaux per steamer "France" via Marseilles, franked by 1873 1c. lilac strip of three and three singles all tied by "BUENOS AIRES O.M./OCT/20/1875" double-ring d/s, sender oval in blue, red Marseilles c.d.s. and French tax h/s on front, Bordeaux '18 Nov 75' arrival cds on the reverse. Stamps with minor imperfections as few toned perfs, cover slightly reduced at left, with hinges on back and overpaid 1c., but still an attractive Trans-Atlantic cover.
