Iran. Iranian postal boycott of Israel: c. OCT 1986 airmail cover from TEHRAN to HEBRON "Israel/West Bank", franked 45R & tied by unclear machine cancel; as postal relations with Israel "officially" suspended in late 1982, cover transmission halted & marked by rare Farsi instructional marking handstamp K-Type-III "BACK TO SENDER | THERE IS NO POSTAL SERVICE CONNECTION" + Iranian censor (#7) cachet & returned to sender, backstamped 1 OCT 1986 arrival. This is the only cover known with this "no service" Type-III marking in Farsi (possibly used only on domestically originating mail), obtained from former emigre who subsequently left. Vertical fold.
