Antarctica: RRS Discovery II Expeditions 1929-39: Envelope believed sent from a crew member on "Discovery II", addressed to schoolteacher Norman Hill in Rotherham, bearing Great Britain 1/2d. pair with fine SG2 c.d.s. showing filed "3" in year date alongside, the franking unaccepted on arrival with adhesives receiving dumb cancellations and charged "T/20c" with "1D/I.S." handstamp, 1d. postage due affixed and cancelled "4 AP/32" thimble c.d.s., vertical cover fold, unusual.
