1913, Ottoman Empire, 2 Pia green 'proportional fee' revenue stamp with circular overprint "SHQIPENE MESME PLEQESIA" (senate of middle albania), tied by cds DURRES/SHQIPENIE, 27.12.1913, single franking on cover to Trieste in Austria, arrival mark TRIEST 1, 3.1.14, on reverse. Envelope slightly toned at left, else F/VF condition. Very rare usage of fiscal stamps for postage to a foreign destination!

1914, 1 Grosh 'ESAT PASHA' fiscal stamp "Udhe Shemendefer", tied by austrian forces cds K.u.K ETAPPENPOSTAMT DURAZZO (DORZ), 22.7.18, to 5 Q green 'Skanderbeg' c.t.o. postal stationery card addressed to Ragusa. The stamp was printed to be affixed on documents to raise funds for a railway. Very unusual and scarce!
