Solo frankings mostly on locally addressed covers comprising '1d.' on 5pf, '2d.' on 10pf, '2d.' on 20pf, '3d.' on 25pf (with American certificate), '3d.' on 30pf, '4d.' on 40pf and '5d.' on 50pf, plus '2d.' on 10pf vertical pair with Surcharges Misplaced to Left (with RPSofV Certificate) & '4d.' on 40pf pair, a few problems with the covers but the stamps are very fine, Cat £2650+.

'1d.' on 5pf green SG 51 block of 4 tied to local cover by oval Rabaul d/s of FEB 26 1915 in violet, Cat £340+. Germany Philatelic Society (USA) Certificate (1975).
'4d.' on 40pf, '5d.' on 50pf (with the 'd' Omitted) & '8d.' on 80pf SG 56 57f & 58 tied by oval Rabaul d/s of JAN 8 1915 in violet, Cat £2950+ (the variety is unpriced used by Gibbons). Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2016). NB: both Chris Ceremuga and Peter Holcombe have noted that all examples of SG 57f show fragmentary evidence of the 'd'.
'4d.' on 40pf black & carmine SG 56 x2 tied to local cover by 'STEPHANSORT/ 13 ' "frozen" cds, 'KAISERL DEUTSCHE POSTAGENTUR' wafer on the flap, vertical fold & a bit soiled, Cat £500++.
'4d.' on 40pf black & carmine SG 56 pair tied to local cover by oval Rabaul d/s of JAN 28 1915, 'KAISERL DEUTSCHE POSTAMT/RABAUL/(DEUTSCH NEUGUINEA)' wafer on the flap, horizontal fold at the base, Cat £500++.
'8d.' on 80pf black & carmine/pink and '2d.' on 10pf red SG 58 & 52 tied to cover to NSW by oval Rabaul d/s of JAN 5 1915, flap removed & some faint toning, Cat £750+.
'2s.' on 2mk blue SG 60 an exceptional example tied to unsealed cover to Queensland by oval Rabaul d/s of MAR 19 1915 in violet, Cat £4000+. Superb! [The 'Besancon' example on piece sold for SFr4356]
