1904, Combination franking Ethiopia/French Somali Coast, uprated stationery card dated "Addis Abeba 17.5.1904" and postmarked 18.5., sent via French steamer to Milano/Italy, French postage paid by horiz. pair 5c. green (some short perfs=irrelevant) and oblit. by blue c.d.s. "DJIBOUTI 31 MAI 04", French ship canc. "LA REUNION A MARSEILLE 2 JUIN 04" and Milano arrival 14.6.04 alongside. The card with comprehensive message written in Italian and of striking appearance (Blue and Green of stamps and postmarks!). Rarely seen commercial usage with attractive combination!
