Mexico, 1856-61 Forgery Reference Group. Of 48 forged stamps of the 1856 and 1861 issues, Sc #1-12 in colors different than originally issued, most are illegal reprints made probably in 1895 by Barral and Diaz from the original plates and some are color changelings, these are very scarce as not many were produced.

Of classic forgeries of Mexico from Eagles to the 1872 issue, about 750 stamps and 12 covers; 1868 and 1872 sections are particularly strong, discussion of Anotado types of forgeries is very strong, the 1872 contains half sheets all the values of the St Louis Reprints and a solid showing of De Thuin forgeries; a good resource for the specialist.
