Douglas Harris from Australia, a remarkable & very extensive, well-annotated mounted collection of 24 incoming items to Dr. H.D. Harris; Harris was an overage volunteer of the Reserve Motor Transport Company, and one of the first to see action, surrendering after a series of events in October 1942; the collection includes an incredible array of different types, P.O.W. lettersheets, wonderful censor marks, chronicling his movements to different camps, right on up to his return to Australia on the S.S. Moretan Bay after October 1945; simply an amazing study and holding, Fine to Very Fine, inspection invited.
