Amazing accumulation, 1960s-80s, with astronomical face value; several albums, binders, stockpages and glassines hold a wide range of modern issues, all fresh as the day they were purchased; one small stockbook has issues from the 1950s to '70s (most duplicated, some imprint singles), but the vast majority of stamps here are from the 1980s and early 1990s, with denominations of 40y to 80y dominating; tallying just one album (1987-93) plus several stockpages gave us a face value total of nearly 50,000 yen—and that's about 20% of the volume in this lot (and doesn't figure in the several sheet files that are here); a magnificent lot for the modern collector, or for the dealer for sale or for postage; definitely one to view, o.g., never hinged, Very Fine.
