France, 1929-1934, 9 Aeropostale/Air France directional air etiquettes, 1929-1932 Aeropostale issued special etiquettes for their South American route (B10-12). When Aeropostale was incorporated into Air France, they were overprinted "Air France" in various type faces (here, B10 & B12). Then Air France issued its own, not only for South America (B49-50) but also for Indochina (B51-52). They are all rated 5* and a very rarely seen on cover. A difficult group to assemble, Extremely Fine to Superb. Suggested Bid $200-300 (Image)

France, 1935, French Zeppelin air etiquettes, thought to have been produced around 1935 for the South American flights, they only recently have come to light and appear either as a booklet, perf. horizontally, or as imperf. panes. The pane here is five vertically and could well be the complete booklet pane before perforating, or perhaps meant to be imperf. A rare finding for the Zeppelin specialist, Extremely Fine to Superb. Suggested Bid $200-300 (Image)
