A collection to intoxicate the specialist, mostly Amoy and Kewkiang issues in large blocks, part- or full sheets, each on a homemade annotated quadrille page, with many of the Amoy issues' setting types identified; among the items included are a ½¢ Amoy First Issue first plate sheet of 40, a set of blocks of the same largely reconstructing a sheet with regular ABCDE setting, a 1¢ Amoy First Issue first plate block of 32; Kewkiang 2¢ and 10¢ complete sheets (two each), a 1¢ Chefoo complete sheet of 40 (partially separated), plus three stockpages of singles or blocks of Amoy, Chefoo, Chinkiang, Foochow, Hankow, I Chang, Kewkiang and Wuhu issues (including some Postage Dues); all but a couple mint and generally fresh and sound, Fine to Very Fine with better, inspect.

Nice selection of seven items, interesting group of "better" items, comprising Amoy ½¢ with papermaker's watermark (Chan #LA1a), plus two mint 2¢ blue Type I "no dot" varieties, an Amoy ½¢ red Postage Due overprint imperforate-at-bottom variety; ½¢ black and ½¢ green Wuhu First Issue imperforate pairs (Chan #LW1a & LW2 var); plus a 1¢ red Chinkiang First Issue proof (faults), generally Fine to Very Fine, nice group for the specialist.

Chungking, 1894, 2ca to 24ca Third Issue complete, imperforate plate proofs (Scott 3-7 var. Livingston 3P-7P), a splendid set of bottom margin horizontal pairs in issued colors on thick paper stock, without gum as issued; few spots of very trivial light wrinkling, Very Fine, a most attractive set.
