(faults, inc. a mounting corner stuck at upper right) depicting a lake scene with herons, minogame (Japanese mythological turtle) on a rock and pine tree used London to Scotland; and 1901 env. PAUL KRUGER'S JOURNEY TO EUROPE - 4 Nov. 1900 env. (top flap missing, toning & other faults) Canterbury to London, apparently correctly predicting Kruger's visit to Europe (he arrived on 22 Nov.) would be a disaster as depicting him at first content but then sea-sick. IRISH FIGURE? - 1900 env. to W. Tempest, Dundalk (founder of Dundalgan Press) depicting a recumbent figure in night cap holding a pistol with part of a rifle below that is possibly contemporary though only in pencil, with an industrial scene in the distance.
