Canada. 1915 Stampless picture postcard of the "Canada" with violet circular "HEAD QUARTERS / 24 JAN 1915 / PRISONERS OF WAR SHIP" and boxed "P.C" with chamfered corners, and a P.O.W envelope with violet circular "RYDE / 24 FEB 1915 / PRISONERS OF WAR" and "P.C", both with a Ryde c.d.s; piece with a crowned German eagle drawn by a P.O.W and the distinctive boxed "P.C." censor dated "25·1·1915"; stampless cover with Post Free P.C cachet; and a German Red Cross envelope to a P.O.W on the ship.
