Royal Edward. 1915 Covers comprising KGV 1d envelope from London to the ship with a superb strike of the very scarce oval "H.M.T ROYAL EDWARD / P.C. / SOUTHEND-ON-SEA" in violet; stampless P.O.W envelopes (3) and a cover with KGV ½d + 1d pair cancelled in pencil all with circular "POST FREE / P.C. / PRISONERS OF WAR"; two letters (without covers) from a P.O.W on the ship in which he describes being taken off a neutral ship bound from USA to Holland, both neutral countries; and five postcards of the ship.
