Published in The Daily Graphic for 28th March 1900, the two drawings on a single piece of card, together 263x295mm. Fine and attractive.

Herbert Johnson. Pen and ink drawings, "Making Gun Epaulments for 69 Battery R.F.A at Nkandhla", "Ambulance with wounded arriving at Nkandhla" and "Court House, Nkandhla used as a hospital for wounded from Itala". Three fine drawings showing the aftermath of the fight for Mount Itala in Zululand, published in The Daily Graphic for 23rd November 1901. The three drawings on a single piece of card, together 296x327mm. Fine and attractive.

George K. Jones. 1900 Pen and ink drawing of cheering soldiers holding their hats aloft, reverse inscribed "The Queens Regiment giving three cheers for Queen at Ingogo Heights Natal to celebrate her Birthday 24 May 1900 (morn)". Published in The Daily Graphic for 28th June 1900. Fine and attractive, 388x316mm.

Angus McNeill. Signed pencil sketches depicting "Lt. Gen. Pole Carew and the Portuguese Staff", 228x182mm; or "Montmorencys Scouts", 328x202mm (dated Jan 1900), both with detailed notes on the reverse describing the scenes shown. McNeill submitted pictures to various magazines during the Sudanese and South African Wars, and illustrated Winston Churchill's book "The River War". The second ex Greenwall, illustrated on page 179 of his book. (2).

James. 1900 Watercolour "Major Hunter-Weston's daring expedition to destroy the railway near Kroonstad", depicting Hunter-Weston and the Scout Burnham hiding alongside the railway with mounted Boers behind, copied from a sketch by Lionel James. Published in The Daily Graphic for 23 June 1900, fine and attractive, 266x134mm.

William Barnes Wollen. 1899 Christmas Menu for War Correspondents at Modder River, illustrated in pencil with a Boer being hit by a cannon ball, signed by nine War Correspondents including Julian and Lester Ralph and H.A Gwynne. Tear at foot, an interesting and unique item, ex Greenwall, illustrated on page 233 of his book.
