Postal History and Cancellations. 1903 (Oct 9) Registered cover from Port Moresby to Holland franked 1901-05 ½d, 1d and 6d, a Bahnpost Nr. 19 registration label applied in transit in Germany, backstamped at Brisbane and The Hague. Philatelic with three vertical folds (two crossing the ½d and 6d stamps), a scarce issue on cover.

An uncommon commercial use of these 1931 surcharges, the cover a little reduced at left, otherwise fine.
