1894 (Sep 11) Registered cover from Bonny to England, 4½d postage paid by 1892 Oil Rivers 2d, 1894 Niger Coast 1d, diagonally bisected 1d and diagonally bisected 2d. Bisects of the 1d and 2d value were authorised for use at Bonny in August and September 1894. Minor edge faults and philatelic but scarce.

1895 (May 15) G.B 1d Reply Card from London to the British Vice Consulate at Brass, the message concerning Oil Rivers stamps seen for sale with fake postmarks, Brass River arrival datestamps, with the attached 1d reply half posted back from Brass to London, the reply concerning the genuine datestamps used in the Oil Rivers. Very unusual.

Forces Mail. 1898 Stampless covers to England, endorsed "No Stamps Procurable, On Special Service, F.H Howe, W.A.F.F" or "No Stamps Procurable, W.L Armitage, Capt - R.A", with boxed Burutu datestamps in violet (Burutu serifed) or black (Burutu san-serif), Liverpool Br. Packet datestamps, charged the single rate of 2½d. One with fancy "2d" charge mark and manuscript "½", the other with separate fancy "2d" and "½d" charge marks, one with vertical and horizontal folds, the other very fine. (2). Photo on Page 184.
