Pan American US Army flight first leg cover canceled on December 19, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas. Addressed in the hand of Major Herbert Dargue to himself. From December 21, 1926 to May 2, 1927, Dargue led the U.S. Army Pan American Flight, a public relations goodwill mission to promote U.S. aviation in South America. Canceled on January, 18, 1927 in Cristobal, Canal Zone. Comes with a long article written by him describing the historical flight. (Image)
