(Sc.92 pair) paying the single rate of a letter to USA, taxed because the weight was larger (corresponding to the double rate), with transit mark of Rio de Janeiro, and on arrival in New York it was marked for 20c. dues, paid with 6x 3c. red-chestnut (Sc.J17, US$350 each) + 2c. brown (Sc.J2), cancelled "Sup't Free Delivery Dep't", with some minor defects but very nice and rare piece! The Scott catalog value of the 3c. postage dues stamps is $350 each (used) = US$2,100. (Image)
