Worldwide Collection in Scott International Junior Edition album, 1924 edition. About 1,600 mostly used stamps of 1860s-1920s. Continental Western Europe and India appear best represented. Canada and Latin America are sparse. US looks unimpressive, but there’s a handful of Wash-Franks and fifty-plus 4th Bureaus to check.

Because the number of stamps seemed underwhelming, with many pages blank, I thought I’d put them on a stock sheet or such, and started removing the stamps I hadn’t seen too often. After a Greek Hermes head, a nice used U.S. 2c Jackson Continental Banknote (cat $25), and some others of non-trivial interest and use, I put them back in the album, realizing that someone above my pay grade and knowledge of worldwide had better take a look. As usual, as an Old-Time collection, “faults among the earlies.” Estimate $35. Donated by David F. Hull Stamp Company.
