A real bona fide old time 1851 to early 1980’s mostly mint collection in Scott albums. As to be expected, at a time before quality was everything, there is quite a mix of condition with hinging, hinge remnants, thins, etc. However, there is some real solid condition and value scattered about (# 241 og., disturbed, # 242 og., vlh., C13 HR, C14 hinged, C15 vlh.). In addition to mint singles there are blocks where some with bottom two are NH, plate blocks, etc. Also included is a small batch of mint postal cards of little consequence. Loads of catalog value present. Take your time viewing. You will probably unearth several diamonds in the rough. (Image)

A straight forward predominantly used 1847-1934 collection nested in a hingeless Heirloom album with slip case. Certificates for mint 30, 39, used 101, 245 are included. Respectable groups of early Banknotes and commemorative and the Washington-Franklins are well populated. Early airmails can be found and the 1930 Zepp set is a uniform vlh. A great lot worthy of inspection. (Image)

Eight Harris Liberty stamp albums with a collection to 2003. The early years are well populated with an occasional mint stamp. Starting with the Columbians a mix of mint and used with never hinged present. In the mid-1920s the remainder are mostly, never hinged. There is a large amount of postage so bring your calculator. Condition is mixed on the earlies as expected and careful examination is needed to come up with the right number. Inspect and enjoy. (Image)

An old time original predominately used 19th, 20th century front and back of the book collection hinged on Minkus pages that hasn’t seen the light of day for 30 years. Virtually complete (minus the rarities) through the Washington-Franklins. Airmails, Special Deliveries, Postage Dues, etc. are well represented. As to be expected condition was an after thought for collectors of that era, so condition is quite mixed. Still there is solid value to be considered for both dealer or collector. (Image)

A useful accumulation in eleven albums with duplication. Condition is very mixed especially among the earlies and some optimistic placement of a few items exists. Although the collection is weighted toward the earlies through the 1930s there is some back of the book, revenues, Canal Zone and postage. Certainly, worth a very serious and careful view. (Image)

Five album collection with three Harris Liberties to 2011 then two lovely Schaubek hingeless albums to 2018. Pre 1940 leaves much to be desired, however, the exception being a lovely set of LH zepps (C 13-15) in F-VF which the owner proudly acquired along with a C18 zepp. A large amount of face after 1960 including mint sheets and forever issues. A few year books round out this outstanding offering. A very desirable holding. (Image)

One man’s U.S. collection in which the saving grace is the plethora of postage. Very few stamps in collectible condition prior to 1930, then a bit better to the 4-cent era where it becomes virtually complete mint, albeit hinged. The collection continues mint to the 34-cent era where the collector grew tired of buying post office products. Spotted some high values and an imperf Bugs among the more interesting items. Probably over $2000 face with a bit of Canal Zone thrown in as a bonus. A quick review is all you’ll need. (Image)
