CLASSIC PRECANCEL COLLECTION on quadrille pages in an Elbe album and starting with pioneer precancels like the Weston, MA manuscript -½W-+ and the Glen Allen, VA -½Star-+ and then to silent precancels on Columbians, early postage dues and small banknotes before moving on to printed and handstamped precancels on small banknotes and the 1902-03 series. A few later precancels including large multiples of Manhattan, KS on commemoratives, Fine collection and well worth a look (see online scans)
