A mint collection in four hingeless Davo albums. Beginning in 1870 and continuing to 1986 the early stamps are hinged with some no gum, and slowly turns to never hinged around 1940. The back of the book issues must be carefully inspected. Many are hinged or no gum and others, #C1-6, are never hinged. For accuracy, one stamp #211 is cancelled. With a careful look you will be able to find the gems. (Image)

One man's collection of plate blocks and singles in Harris and Minkus albums. The plate block assembly starts out around the Farleys with many of the following commemorative set. However, unfortunately the sets are missing the key values. A $5.00 Hamilton was spotted. The airmails follow the same pattern of missing the key values. The singles grouping is a combination of mint and used, light populated 19th century, a scattering of lower value Washington-Franklins followed by airmails and back of the book in a hit and miss fashion. There is an identifiable amount of postage to figure into a winning equation. Condition is mixed, good group to build upon. (Image)

The floor sweepings of a successful Midwestern show dealer stuffed into eight cartons. One carton is 8 ½ pounds of on paper mixture from the 42-44 cent era. Another carton is filled with glassines of familiar stamps sorted by Scott number from several hoards. The remaining six cartons consist of collection remainders, beginner collections, stockbooks, and other forms of storage. We noted postage scattered throughout but, since it came to used already boxed, we only unpacked enough to take a few photos so who knows what may lurk here. A gambler's lot for sure. (Image)
