United States outstandingly phenomenal railroad exhibits from the Post estate in two cartons. Hundreds and hundreds of covers, postal stationery, and postcards roughly from the 1840s to the 1950s in four large, four small binders, and two #10 envelope boxes. Nicely annotated, described, and organized on exhibit pages which have some very detailed information by the collector who had a huge passion for railroad postal history. Many cancels are also bold and strong. The exhibits have somewhat become disjointed but with a little reorganization could become a top-notch exhibit. Spotted New York, New England, and Illinois railroads to name just a few. After you view this out of sight selection, you will want to shuffle off to Buffalo. (Image)
