Bank Checks -- Honolulu Hawaii 1859 payment draft August 24, 1859 draft reads: "Three after sights of this Second of Exchange first & third unpaid; pay to the Order of Mess Morgan Stone & Co. Fourteen hundred and fifty two (&.43) dollars. Value received and charge the same to account to Mess Williams & Haven, New London, Conn." Signed Your Obt Servant C. L. Richards & Co., per W. F. Allen. Rare Honolulu draft. C. L. Richards Co. is Hawaii's oldest liquor producing company dates to about 1858. This draft is dated 1859 for was used for early trade between the two companies.
