Unused 7-star Flag patriotic cover with Jeff Davis at top, #11 with 3 margins, on cover Lynchburg to Major Goggin with write up. An unused US International Exhibit Philadelphia envelope 1876 with a Philadelphia Bank Note Company imprint. The most interesting item is a General P. Lot of Seven Stampless Covers, 1861-1864 with notes and Dietz references. With V in oval from Smithfield VA, a Culpeper VA with Due marking, another from Cobb's Georgia Legion, Due 10 on Winchester VA cover, Salt Lake City Utah to Woodstock Canada 1864 and lastly cover carried across Mississippi river to Texas. A horizontal pair of #7 with full margins, very fine, tied by Gloucester Atlanta to a Lt in Col Wirt Adam's Regiment. Two faulty #7 singles tied by Mobile Atlanta from General Lovell with notes. Lastly two #7a singles in different shades of dark blue one fine, other faulty with Philatelic Foundation certificate. Nice lot. (Image)
