551//610 USA Fourth Bureau Issues on paper. 6 ounces of used Fourth Bureau stamps on and off paper. Lots of 1c and 2c, but there are other denoms as well. Includes full perf, coils, and booklet examples. Most singles, some multiples. According to the donor, Dave Hull, a North Carolina dealer and member of USDA, APS, and USSS (and a Type II diabetic!), “Over the last 10 years, I’ve accumulated ‘tons’ of US and worldwide hoards. I’ve sorted out the USA regs, commems, etc., by era for this auction. I did not pick for varieties with a perf gauge, et al., check precancels, perfins, or anything else-- AND they don’t appear to have been picked by anyone else, either. Most are just envelope tearoffs that were put into envelopes or bags, forgotten, and then sold to me decades later by uninterested heirs. I did discard stamps with obvious faults—torn, stained, perfs cut off, etc., and I trimmed excessive paper, but that’s the extent of my look. A minority of the stamps no doubt have small faults, and centering is ‘random. These Fourth Bureaus await your examination. Happy hunting! (Image1)
