THE EUGENE KLEIN REFERENCE COLLECTION OF FORGERIES. outstanding reference collection from the early 20th century assembled by one of the most prominent collectors of U.S. material. Collection comprises of approx. 1,600 mostly different reprints, forgeries, fantasies, etc, including many multiples, couple full sheets and early photos. Nearly the entire collection is mounted in an older "Ne Plus" album which long ago lost its front cover; majority of collection is Carriers and Locals but also includes Newspaper stamps, CSA, etc., mixed and loose items include early photocopies, photos of real stamps and real covers for comparison, etc, a wealth of important material ideal for any specialists in these areas, a unique opportunity to acquire a an extraordinary reference collection.
