US 'OLD TIMER'S' ACCUMULATION. Grandpa started it in the 1920/30s and stored everything in stock books, glassines, album pages, envelopes, boxes, etc. and then the grandson put some of it into albums. There are hundreds of mint plate blocks, mainly from the later 1930’s to 1970’s with many of the earlier showing XF-Superb centering and even some Jumbo copies that can bring top premiums, followed by a box full of “scrap” postage that contains a few thousand mainly mint (most NH) from the early 1900’s to the 1930’s (some later) with many better values and stamps requiring a good review for types and perfs with some finds waiting to be discovered, then several boxes and glassines filled with mainly used stamps from early periods to the 1980’s with several better stamps lurking and with cancel and centering premiums, better bundleware from Columbians onward, stockbooks with early to middle period used (several Scott 10, 11, 26’s unchecked for types), hundreds of mainly 1960’s (some earlier) plate number singles mint with some better Durland numbers, three U.S. albums with used and mint with strong, primary coverage from1930’s to 1980’s, including better airmails, and so much more. While this lot does lot does not have great rarities, it is loaded with a huge volume of untouched material with enough premiums lurking about to make this one a worthy addition!
