Helena, Dec 8, 1914, A.M., Shanghai, China" duplex handstamp on registered cover to a local addressee; also bears faint "Registered" box with manuscript registration number and two U.S.S. Helena "Registered" c.d.s.s, one on reverse; open on three sides. Very Fine.

The only recorded use of the 10¢ registration stamp with a naval ship cancel abroad.
