"12½" rates, 1850-51 unpaid and paid manuscript. "40" rates, 1850s use of 1¢ and three 3¢ 1851 issue to Philadelphia, three patriotic usages but two appear to have 10¢ added, 1863 used with #68 on U41 entire to Philadelphia, #78 on 1864 cover to England, #146 (2), 150 on cover to Italy, and some better advertising covers including illustrated designs, also includes a group of 6 early letters like 1849 Presbyterian Church, 1852 Jacob B Hoppe who was the first postmaster of San Jose and 1850 purchase agreement for San Jose City Hall; some faults, F.-V.F., an excellent collection worthy of expansion.
