Box Full of Thousands of Mostly Pre-WWII Picture Postcards, with some more recent, from mostly Canada, US and Europe, with a wealth of different subjects, about half were mailed. Includes a birch bark (which went through two different postmarking machines), leather, some old photographs, many real photo, and much more, all either loose or in a thick album. Overall fine or better and worth a close look. (Image)

We note more than usual better material such as humoristic, real photo, silver gelatin, "hold to the light", one leather, one birch bark, famous people (some signed), a lovely card with peacock feathers, military, automobiles and much more. Various Collections of Worldwide Picture Postcards, with subjects such as old hand tools, old automobiles, horseless carriages, a heavy album has about 350 cards with American town scenes, mostly all mailed from the 1900s to about the 1950s. Two albums contain many older cards, mostly mailed from a variety of European countries, from the 1910s to the 1970s. Also note a stack of album pages containing cards from the Netherlands with many subjects depicted. Overall very fine with several hundred in all.

Collection of Older Picture Postcards, depicting a wide variety of ocean liners. One album has a nice collection of steam ships, with about 95 different, from the 1900s to about 1915, including real photo, and many different ships from liners such as Cunard, White Star, etc. Also a stack of 97 sleeved cards from the 1910s to the 1920s, many priced between $8 and $12 (with some up to $25) and collected for different ships, including insides, notably the Empress of Britain insides. A very nice collection, with many cards having been mailed and condition is overall very fine. (Image)

Two Dealer Boxes of About 700 Picture Postcards Each, from early to modern, with all sorts of topics, saw some Canada, etc. These cards are not sleeved but priced on box lids as "$2 each or $1 each if buy more than ten". Also includes a box with about 300 unused postcards from the 1980s, "Ersttag" with Austria stamps on the picture side with the same topic as the card(maxi, with some duplication). Lastly, includes a stack of about 80 unused "Eastlake Frame" cards (id'd by owner as...) all with the same embossed picture of a bird with the words "My Thoughts are of you". Look to be quite old, with a few small faults but still overall very fine.
