1841-1910, Group of 14 entires, cards and wrappers, neat array of items, four with adhesives, from the Post Office Department, United States Internal Revenue, War Department (including two Signal Service Weather Report wrappers), Department of Agriculture, Headquarters Department of Arizona/Office of the Chief Quartermaster, Office of Indian Affairs, Navy Department, Treasury Department and National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers; frankings include #O4 (removed and replaced), O83, O86 and a grilled 3¢ Washington (each faulty); interesting cancels including one from the Treasury Department's "Horse Claims Div." with bold "Returned to Writer" violet handstamp obliterating address, etc.; condition varies, generally Fine to Very Fine.
